Thanksgiving  Day

    Today is Thanksgiving Day. We know that every year the fourth Thursday in November is Thanksgiving Day. Thanksgiving Day in the United States is a family festival, like the New Year in China emphasize the Family Reunion. So Thanksgiving Day is the one of the most important festivals.

    In our English class, Mrs.Zhang told us the origin of Thanksgiving Day. As early as in 1620, some in the UK of religious persecution by the pilgrims sailed to America. But the winter let them meet across the difficulties. Hunger and cold made them half people lost their lives. At that time, the kind Indians sent them necessaries of life, also tough them survival skills, for example, growing, hunting and so on. In order to thank the indians’ help, in the abundant harvest of that year, immigration invited the indians to celebrate it.

And then, we began to express the thanks to our parents and friends. The representative of the group will stand in the front of the blackboard to say the blessing.

              Thank the parents upbringing.

Thanksgiving just won’t be the same without you.

Thanks for being there as a friend so true!

Although we are studying in the college ,we can’t go home to meet our families, we have the new fiends and we also have a happy Thanksgiving Day.
